Who we are

Pitchsd Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 11129916, at 8 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YJ. You can reach us at contact@pitchsd.com.

What we collect

If you complete the enquiry form we collect the name, company, email address, telephone number, enquiry category and message you provide. We collect nothing else through the form, and there is no requirement to give a company name or telephone number.

If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence and the address it came from.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and to continue the conversation you started. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry we have been asked to reply to, and, where a commercial relationship follows, performance of a contract.

We do not use your details for marketing. We do not add enquirers to a mailing list. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Who sees it

Enquiries are delivered to a Pitchsd mailbox and read by the people who need to answer them. Two categories of provider process the data on our behalf as part of that: our website host, and our email provider, which transmits and stores the message. Both act on our instructions under contract.

We may disclose personal data where we are legally required to. We will not otherwise pass it to a third party without telling you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within twelve months. Where a client relationship follows, we keep records for as long as the engagement continues and then for six years, which reflects the period in which a claim relating to the engagement could be brought.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. Nothing is stored on your device by us.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve them, Google receives your IP address and browser information. If you would rather that did not happen, a browser extension that blocks third-party font loading will prevent it; the site remains fully readable without the webfonts.

Where your data is held

Our hosting and email are provided within the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where any provider transfers data outside that area, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it elsewhere. You can also object to our processing it on the basis of legitimate interest.

Email contact@pitchsd.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by telephone on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date above.
