We get financial firms authorised — and give them the technology to operate.
Pitchsd is an advisory and technology firm for regulated financial services. We build the authorisation application, and we provide the platform your business runs on once you have permission.
What we do
Two services. Used together or on their own.
Most firms come to us for authorisation and stay for the platform. You can take either.
Regulatory authorisation
We write and manage the full application, tailored to the permissions you are applying for, and deal with the regulator's questions until you are authorised.
The application suite
- Regulatory business plan
- Compliance and risk management frameworks
- Financial model and forecasts
- Capital, ICARA and wind-down planning
- The application itself, start to finish
People and governance
- Fractional MLRO and compliance leadership
- Non-executive directors
- CFO and CEO bench
- Recruitment for your permanent team
Technology platform
A white-label platform you can put your brand on. A customer app and the back-office your team uses to run the business, configured to your product.
What it includes
- Customer app — accounts, payments, cards
- Operator console for your operations team
- Onboarding, KYC and KYB
- Transaction monitoring and case management
- Regulatory reporting and management information
Integrations
- Core banking, card issuing and payments
- KYC, AML and screening providers
- Digital asset custody and wallets
- Your existing providers, where you have them
Who we work with
Firms across the regulated perimeter.
E-money and payments
EMIs and payment institutions, including safeguarding and financial crime frameworks.
Lending and consumer credit
Lenders and credit firms, from permissions through to conduct and affordability.
Investment and wealth
Wealth managers, asset managers and investment managers, taken from application to operational.
Insurance
Insurers and intermediaries, including conduct, prudential and governance requirements.
Digital assets
Cryptoasset firms preparing for the UK's incoming regime, and equivalent regimes elsewhere.
New entrants and established firms
First authorisations, permission changes, and firms entering a new market.
We work across jurisdictions worldwide — the UK and Europe, the Gulf, Asia-Pacific, North America and offshore centres. Our deepest experience is in UK and European regimes. See how we help you choose a jurisdiction →
Applications close on 28 February 2027, and the regime takes effect in October 2027. Pre-application meetings with the regulator are already available. If you will need authorisation, now is the time to start the application.
Why Pitchsd
We have run regulated firms, not just advised them.
Twenty years inside regulated financial services — leading authorisations, running compliance functions, and dealing directly with the regulator and the Financial Ombudsman.
Operators, not reviewers
Our applications are written by people who have had to live with the frameworks they wrote, and answer for them afterwards.
Advice and technology together
Compliance advisers do not build platforms. Platform vendors cannot get you authorised. We do both, so nothing falls between the two.
Senior people on your work
You deal with the people doing the work. We bring in specialist partners, NEDs and executives from our network when you need them.
How we work
From first conversation to authorised and running.
Scope
We agree what permissions you need, what your business model requires, and the most realistic route to get there. You get a clear view of cost, timing and what the regulator will expect.
Build the application
We produce the full pack — business plan, frameworks, financial model and capital planning — working with you rather than sending a questionnaire.
Submit and respond
We manage the submission and handle the regulator's follow-up questions through to determination.
Launch and keep running
We configure the platform to your brand and product, and support you after authorisation — reporting, monitoring and the ongoing obligations that come with permission.
Contact
Tell us what you are building.
If you are considering an authorisation, changing permissions, or launching a new regulated product, we will tell you what it takes — the permissions, the technology and the people. There is no charge for the first conversation.
